The customer wanted to replace their asphalt shingles with a Owens Corning TruDefinition® AR ONYX BLACK.
Firstly, we protected all areas with a black tarp to avoid damage, then we teared off the old asphalt shingles.
When we teared off the old shingles we discovered it was necessary to replace some of the wood structure and plywood due to their bad condition. After that, we waterproofed a by applying ice & water shield, which protect from leaks and high temperatures. We also re-flashed the chimney.
When the roof deck was ready, we proceeded to install 29 sq. ft of New Asphalt Shingle roof in Onyx Black color, replaced all the gutters, soffit and fascia following the manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
We finished the project in 3 days, as established in the contract
